best steak in a sandwich I've seen
I played it safe when ordering here, as the place has changed a bit since the last time I'd stopped by. Last time was 'meh' neither bad not good, but I was overwhelmed by the weird reflective walls..
This time, I'm happy to report, no headspins, the wall is gone! I ordered the steak sandwich, always a pub favourite - OMG the steak was a good quality sirloin or scotch fillet or something, thick and juicy. I'd had a rather bad one at the Vic not long ago(skirt or chuck steak grilled within an inch of it's life)and was happy to find that the Basement is a steak lover.

Pumping Local bar!
I go to UWA around the corner and some mates told me about this place - good student deals at lunch time, much better than hanging out at the uni bar during those breaks in between class! The pizzas are really good, so fresh and not so oily. Will definitely be back!
