The Attic
A place of mystery and wonder, an attic is a place where treasures are uncovered or secrets are hidden, where children make discoveries and spiders make homes. So maybe I've watched a little too much of The Goonies but there is definitely some appeal to an upstairs attic-style cafe, complete with old suitcases, antique furnishings and enough quirky trinkets to make a hoarding grandma jealous. The food is here is as equally as captivating with a brunch inspired menu featuring such wonders as the Bulgarian white cheese and lime on toast, or the mouth-watering shakshuka (baked eggs) served with soft white cheese, Tunisian spices, and a tomato reduction, served on sourdough toast. The coffee is equally as good with a strong nutty flavour and plenty of kick to start off your day.
