While it may not necessarily be your first choice for a romantic dinner for two (Thanh Dat's interior is a little dated and basic, and you certainly won't find any candlelight here), this is a great spot for quick, tasty and hearty Chinese and Vietnamese.
The mix of the two cuisines means there's plenty of variety, and the distinct flavours of both styles of food are kept intact and very authentic. Though it can get bustling and lively on busy evenings, you're always guaranteed to get in and out in lightning-quick speed.
