All that glitters is gold at Thai with Style. Proud past winners of two Gold Plate Awards (2001 and 2002) and finalists in several other years, the restaurant itself is swathed in sparkling gold decor, from the cutlery to the table cloths and the numerous elephant-themed hangings that adorn every spare inch of wall. However, belying the bling interior, the restaurant features a plain, modest frontage down Salisbury Avenue.
Though the menu ticks all the boxes as far as standard Australian Thai restaurants go, Thai with Style adds something a bit different with their signature Thai dips. Served with fresh vegetables, prawn crackers and your choice of chicken, pork, beef or tofu, the dips might include a spicy basil number; or perhaps a fiery blend of tomato, onion and herbs. The meals are good value and, refreshingly, there is no corkage charge.

Had an amazing evening with my partner, definitely worth visiting
We found this beautiful restaurant online and went for one of our Friday night "date nights".
As you walk in you are greeted with a collection of awards hanging on the wall, apparently it's got quite a reputation in the area.
Food tasted amazing, I had a stir fry and my girlfriend ordered a prawn dish. When it came there was a very generous serving of over a dozen prawns. Surprisingly reasonably priced as well.
Staff were very friendly too.
I highly recommend it.

Good Value for money
We went there for dinner with a group of 7 including 2 vegetarians. There are a number of vegetarian options with the meals. Eg. we chose the tofu option for our green curry (Admittedly, they were mostly tofu options). The food was above average. Wasn't that spicy either although the red curry had abit of a kick. We ordered 2 entrees including the dips mentioned above and 6 mains with steam rice. To our surprise, it ended up costing less than $20 per person. Free BYO is also nice.
However, I agree with the previous poster that service is slow and not very attentive. It wasn't Windsor bar level of service but could be better. There weren't many tables and I still had to go up to the counter and ask for more water and for wine buckets and so on. Overall, we had a fun night.

deserves it's reputation
This place has quite a reputation in the neighbourhood, and I can see why. The service could have been a bit faster, especially as there were only four tables on the go, but I will certainly be back.
