Friday night Thai disappointment
I was after a quick Friday night takeaway. First problem was when I couldn't find the restaurant - because they've changed the name! It's now called Annapurna Cafe. So I'm already 15 minutes late and then have to wait another 20 minutes to get my takeaway meals. The food was fine, but by then I was too cranky to enjoy it. There was one poor choice, a chicken dish called Tom Kha Gai which was swimming in coconut milk. For dine-inners, if you like your restaurant to be brightly lit with bare concrete floors and people standing over you as they wait (and wait) for their takeaway, then this is the place for you.

This little spot is one of our favourites. The food is always so fresh, extremely tasty and beautifully presented. We return again and again as it's our favourite Thai spot in Perth. It's small but therefore intimate, but nothing special as far as atmosphere goes. However, the food and service with a smile really makes it worth it. They do a roaring trade in takeaways too.
