The menu at first glance contains all the favourites, but the way they're prepared and presented is what sets this restaurant apart from the others. Ignore the decor and focus on the food.

Great Thai lunch
We were in a group of about 10 and the service and food were fantastic. Very accomodating with special requests too. Fresh and quick food just like in Bangkok. We will definitely go back again.

Change is not always good
After storm damage closed this place for some time it looks like it now has new owners. The quirky maitre'd/owner is no longer there and the decor has been 'funked up' (new paint, chairs and tables). I've been eating at this restaurant for more years than I can remember - 8? - 10? It was a nice surprise to see it has re-opened.
Unfortunately the food was very poor - terrible spring rolls, bland flavourings on the mains; dry, overcooked chicken breast and the most overcooked sticky rice I have ever eaten. The rice was particularly bad. The chicken and coconut soup was not too bad.
Despite the improved service, seating and decor I won't be back.

Can't stop going there
I went there for dinner, and I couldn't resist the foods that they have available there. It's a small restaurant but it's always busy. It may be hidden but only the people who are willing to take the courage to go to this hidden restaurant have really good taste. I really recommend their Thai fish cakes because of it's strong fish flavour... I am definitely going there again this week.

ps. I heard from the waiters that the manager also cooks the dishes.

The best Thai in Canberra
I have been here many, many times and it's definitely my favourite Thai in Canberra. I recommend the Yum Goong salad! The decor isn't that bad, and it's in a nice cosy corner of Dickson.
