Named for the Italian word for truffles, this restaurant's moniker perfectly describes the indulgent and sumptuous food being created here.
The reason for such delicious and decadent food is the man behind Tartufo: Tony Percuoco. Five generations of the Percuoco family have dedicated their lives to the hospitality industry (two generations in Italy and three here) and Tartufo is the culmination of all those years of experience and expertise brought together in one spot.
Diners can expect to see a menu that presents classic Italian flavours in a refined and contemporary manner. To get a true feel for the culinary genius happening at Tartufo head for the degustation menu: seven courses of superb dishes spanning the length and breadth of regional Italian cooking.

Fantastic Night
I was ready to be turn my back on Tartufo; this was the place after all that had taken over from one of my favourite Brisbane restaurants Belle Epoque, but I must say that I had a great night! The food was simply wonderful, the service was fantastic and the place still looks inviting. It is lovely to see an Italian restuarant that isn't all pasta, breads and pizza too. My only wish is that the meals weren't so huge, as I could barely finish my main and couldn't even look at the dessert menu! But it does make it very good value for money. I will definately be returning to Tartufo.
