Those who go gaga for all things cute or quaint will love this cosy, little weekend tea house. Tucked away in the back of the Irish Design Shop in a charming, 130-year-old terrace, you wouldn't even know it existed except for the famous scone clock out front, alerting passers-by as to when the next fresh batch is due out of the oven.
A range of mouth-watering plain and specialty scones make up the menu, served with a strong, bottomless pot of Irish tea cloaked in an adorable tea cosy. The savoury cheese scones are a great lunch option, coming with a selection of sliced ham, cheese, pickled gherkins and fruit chutney.
