Tapioca


Closing its doors as Banana Blossom, this evergreen local Thai joint has reopened with a new name, even more Sailors Thai alum and a reinvention of the great flavours that made it famous.

Ex-Sailors Canteen head chef Pacharin Jantrakool (known to her regular customers as Air) has been joined in the newly dubbed Tapioca kitchen by former Potts Point Sailors chef Krong-Thong. Together the two have created a menu brimming with classic Thai flavours and modern interpretations of the spicy and fragrant cuisine that ranks among Sydney's most popular.
