Nestled between a forest of white tiled Korean barbeque houses and duck-in-the-window Chinese restaurants, this Thai eatery stands out like a sore thumb. Not that it's a bad thing; the decor and lighting just stand apart from the rest with its warm glow emanating from the heavy doorway and honey toned timber furnishings sparingly draped in hues of purple and green.
The restaurant is named in tribute to the owners' mother who it's said taught them everything they know. Based on the buzz surrounding this place, she was one hell of a teacher.
The food is about as classic Thai as it comes, with curries, stir-fries and salads making up the majority of the fare. The thing that sets this place apart though is the quality; the freshness of each ingredient is immediately evident from the aromatic bouquet to the endorphin releasing taste.
