Best Thai in Sydney
I've eaten at Take-a-seat probably more than 30-40 times... it is by far my favourite local restaurant. The food is exceptional and inexpensive. They serve the best fried rice I have ever eaten, and I always make a point of eating fried rice when I can. Their other dishes are equally as good, all served quickly, efficiently and with fresh ingredients to produce wonderfully clean and simple flavours. Of particular note (in addition to the fried rice) their special Thai wonton soup is exceptional, as is their green and red curries, and finally their prawn with garlic pepper, the chilli and basil prawn and the chicken and cashew nuts are all wonderful dishes.
Truly a treasure of a restaurant with the perfect comination of exquisite food, exceptional service and it won't overburden your wallet.

Well recommended
We eat at this Thai restaurant at least every 2 weeks and we love it! The prices are very reasonable and their service is outstanding. I would definitely recommend the pad Thai, or the sweet soy noodle dish.

Well recommended
I have been to Take A Seat many times over several years for both lunch and dinner, eat-in and takeaway. The food is always cooked fresh from the window and in full view to all diners. It has never disappointed. It is simple and consistent - very good value for money. Highly recommended for that simple and inexpensive but authentic Thai meal.
