In a suburb that's not exactly starved of Asian restaurants, Takaza distinguishes itself by serving traditional Malaysian cuisine that's also halal (and very cheap). Taking over the spot that used to be D'Malaysia, the restaurant gets you excited by offering pictures of the main dishes in the front window, making your decision between laksa, noodle, rice, meat and vegie dishes much easier. Their sign boasts "Asian and Western cuisine", so you can expect a few crossover dishes too.
