A bold sign flanks the front of the restaurant, displaying images of Indian temples in front of a pink and purple sunset. During the warmer months, large windows open out onto the street, allowing diners to experience the benefits of casual, open-air dining.

consistent quality and service
The consistency and quality of taj agra makes for a pleasant dining experience every time we go there. Its my new favourite. The service is always top notch and the atmosphere is cosy despite the generous size of the venue. The chairs are very comfy - (Indian restaurants always seem to do a good chair!) The spices are generally a little 'westernised' and if you want it spicy you need to ask. There's sometimes a little too much ghee, or oil, in some of the dishes but its always tempered by the fact the underlying flavours and aromas are great. The servings are always generous and the service is easy going and friendly, almost homely. The royal feast is fit for a king, or maybe two, or even three!
