Amazing meal
This was our second visit and even better than the first time. The food and service were outstanding. One of the most enjoyable meals we've had in Sydney. Took a chance on the boudin noir for an entree and it was divine, subtly spiced and served with a buttery apricot sauce. Wild boar terrine was a little dry, but tasty nonetheless. For mains we got the old standby steak frites, which was perfect, just as it would be served in Paris. The roast pork was a medley of three different styles and we cleaned the plate. The waiter helped us with an excellent wine match. Overall an authentic atmosphere for French dining and a very memorable meal.

Average experience, don't believe the ad
This restaurant is advertised as being great value for money, however in my experience this was not the case. $160 for two entrees, two mains, and two glasses of wine. The most disappointing thing was the food. It was average at best and certainly was not worth the money. It lacked in flavour and seriously lacked in portion size. I would happily pay that amount for fantastic food, but this place does not provide.

Romantic dinner
Having heard from friends that the food was great, I tried it out. Really, really tasty food, although rich. We had a charming waiter, who was neither too formal or inattentive. The food is expensive, but it is nice for a special occasion.

Went there on Valentine's Day. There was a set menu which was never told when table was booked. Couldn't drink our $50 bottle of wine that we had brought with us due to "no BYO on Valentine's" which was also not told at the time of booking. Being French I was hoping to enjoy some traditional food from my country but the set menu was terrible, what an insult. Boring is the term I would use for the atmosphere.

A most excellent restaurant. We have been going there since it opened and find the food and service consistent - bistro food with a difference in a very comfortable atmosphere. It's sometimes noisy, but it seems to add to the ambience.
