Although Swish is a part of the Stamford Plaza, the sneaky side access off Gresham Lane lends an independent aspect to this hotel restaurant. The prime position over North Terrace means the diverse stream of passing people provides endless entertainment for those cosily huddled inside. The menu features a broad selection of modern cuisine at better-than-reasonable prices, such as rosemary-marinated kangaroo with wild pepper berry sauce; beef fillet with roasted artichokes; or a heavily laden seafood platter.

Bad Customer service
Service to tables took too long and once the meal orders had been taken, meals did not come out for another hour. Staff members misinformed customer of prices regarding birthday cake and charging $2.50 Per side Plate! Also charging a further $5.00 for cuting each slice of cake which is an unrealistic price! Overall the customer service at swish resturant was terible and i will not recomend it to anyone as a place to eat, as the food also did not have much choice. The bad customer service upset my night as i was not able to enjoy my birthday instead i had to deal with stupid things!

Bland food
This was my second time here since it opened and I was dubious after the first time (small serves). When the meals came out I was pleased to see that this had been rectified and the serves had become larger. However, once I started eating my pumpkin gnocchi I was regretting re-visiting Swish as the meal was exremely bland.
