Although the Swinging Pig is better known for those its live music, late opening hours and the ensuing mischief, the bistro menu is definitely not something to be scoffed at. For those expecting your standard pub grub menu, expect a pleasant surprise as well. The Cajun-spiced whole red emperor (pan-sealed and roasted with a creamy garlic sauce and served on a cabernet vinaigrette-infused herb salad) is not your run-of-the-mill pub meal. However, pub grub traditionalists can hardly be upset when there is also a 500g rump on offer, or a graziers 350g T-bone, which basically consists of a sirloin and an eye fillet that just haven't been cut off the bone yet.
