Sweet Basil
Fine food really - too sweet actually! The first wine I ordered was off, the replacement was also off - I couldn't be bothered to complain anymore! Atmosphere noisy as there are bare parallel walls making it unbearable when other diners are larging it up (and they were)! It was so dark that I couldn't read the menu without holding it up in the air to catch the light. Service was just fine. Their own website hasn't been updated for two years and the menu and prices have changed. Reviews describing Sweet Basil as Melbourne's best Thai restaurant are just plain misleading!
