This little restaurant epitomises the term "hidden gem". Tucked away in the old Children's Hospital site, this traditional Japanese restaurant is hard to find but definitely worth the effort.
Be sure to book ahead as this place fills out on a regular basis, but once you're in there prepare for some of the freshest sushi and sashimi you'll find in Sydney. The hot menu provides some great alternatives that make it impossible to pick a standout.
The chef brings all his classic training to the fore with his menu. Presentation is as important as taste and fresh produce is paramount.
