This sushi bar has a very different feel from many of its kind. Owner/chef Akira Kageyama wants his customers to feel as though they have stepped into a sushi bar in downtown Tokyo - inspiring nostalgia in many a Japanese ex-pat. He has gone to some effort to create this feeling for his customers with sophisticated decor including intimate tables for two and a low counter overlooking the concise movements of the man himself. The food is of good quality and authentic, with popular choices including (but not limited to) the scallop dumplings and the tempura soft-shell crab.

Definitely a piece of Tokyo in Prahran
We dropped in for lunch. It was super quiet and we were the only non-Japanese for most of the time. It's a super quiet relaxing place. The service was very nice. The food was very good - that day the salmon and tuna were especially excellent - like butter in your mouth. Would definitely return.
