Sugo Mi

Sugo Mi is one of Bulimba's worst-kept secrets. The authentic crispy Italian pizza at this bistro-style restaurant has won all sorts of awards and locals will tell you it's better than anything you can get across the border. But while the pizza here is a must-have, this eatery is more than just a one-trick pony. There's superb handmade pasta, inspired entrees and an outstanding wine list to boot.

Love this Pizza
Excellent pizza - the real deal! A light base, delicious tomato sauce and inventive, flavoursome toppings. A great place to share dinner and a glass of wine. Good coffee, too.

autentico

After years of bitter complaining about the quality of pizza to be enjoyed in Australia, Sugo mi has shown there is hope. Yesterday evening I discovered why they have called themselved 'sugo'. The sauce that topped such a deliciously light and soft base was simply superb. Many pizzerias seem to substitute quality of the base and sugo for the quantity of topping however sugo mi does not.

Overall a fantastic pizza and I will be returning regularly.

Really disappointed
Our dining experience at Sugo mi was awful to say the least. All the meals were overly salty, the meats were tough, the 'home made' pasta was like boot leather, and the potatoes were hard and not cooked. A really disappointing evening had by all.

Bellissimo Pizza!
Went for lunch at Sugo Mi at a busy Sunday lunch time. Whilst the price of pizzas was high they were well worth it. Light, flavoursome and satisfying!!!! Will definitely return. If you're looking for a more authentic Roman pizza, I highly recommend!

A meal that will spoil you in a way you will love to be spoilt.
I won't let anyone in my house order Dominoes pizza anymore. Not after Sugo mi.
I m not satisfied with dried packet pasta anymore. Not after Sugo mi.
They don't take bookings at Sugo Mi but if you do have to wait for a table it is well worth it and the bar will keep you entertained if you let it. If you decide to try this place on your own, I hope you are able to eat both a pizza and a pasta dish, because you simply shouldn't pass up either. Their handmade pasta melts in your mouth and the pizza... oh the pizza! The flavour will stay with you for a long time (till your next visit). There was no fault with the service though they are definitely kept busy.

The very best pizza I have ever eaten
My partner and I happened upon this place after the movies last weekend, it looked really busy-a good sign. We waited for a little while for a table but were rewarded with the most wonderful pizza I have ever experienced (including during our trip to Italy)! The staff although kept really busy were friendly and attentive. We will most definitely be back.
