A brightly tempting corner cafe catering mostly to young locals of the Redfern area, SWC - as it's generally called - has an all-day breakfast menu with some of the best eggs in Sydney, a lunch/dinner menu well worth the higher-than-average prices, and a dessert menu that will have you grabbing the stranger's hand and never looking back. The service at SWC is always fantastic, despite the fact that the place is also always busy.
Dark, glossy wood tabletops and a small wood-burning stove lend a sense of warmth and contentment before you even try the food. The blue cheese souffle with pickled green pear; steamed fish of the day with ginger and bok choy; and soft-centred chocolate pudding with orange toffee and fresh cream are sure to have you smiling, sated and so stupendously full you'll have to be rolled out of the restaurant - if you ever decide to leave.

What a fabulous restaurant
This place is consistent with superb food and service. The food is fresh, tastes fantastic and is always well presented. The staff are so friendly and nothing is ever a problem. The coffee is superb as are the desserts. I have been there for brunch, lunch and dinner and I cannot fault the place. Love it!!!!!
