Though it doesn't sound Croatian, Steve's serves up many dishes that take inspiration from the cuisine of this burgeoning Balkan nation.
One of the cornerstones of Croatian cooking is found in the chicken breast served with a base of bacon, mushrooms, shallots, cream and champagne sauce - a dish with a hint of the Adriatic. There's also a promising list of Australian wines to choose from, and those wanting something closer to home on their plate as well can go for kangaroo fillet served with a red wine and peppercorn sauce.
