When most people hear the suburb Springfield they think of the fictional suburban town where The Simpsons live. Well, the reality is that there is Springfield right here in Queensland, and it's a growing city just outside of Brissie. Springfield Tavern is a local focal point of Springfield (although it's technically classified as being in the neighbouring suburb of Camira). As well as being a watering hole, bottle shop and hub of live entertainment, Springfield Tavern boasts a good pub bistro that serves up lamb shanks, beef lasagne, beer-battered fish and chips, and so much more. For those who have young'uns, there's plenty to occupy them in the outdoor playground and indoor Playstation consoles.
