In the midst of the busy James Street Markets, the Spoon offers high-quality deli fare as lunch and welcome respite from the demands of shopping. Spoon can get a bit hectic at times, with hungry shoppers crowding around the blackboard menu. The food is displayed in a glass-topped counter and includes grilled lamb, gourmet sarnies and pastries. Table service can be a bit slow when it's busy, but your order is always delivered with a smile, and with healthy lunch options this tasty, who's complaining?

Average all around
I went to Spoon this morning for breakfast. Service was OK, but the food is average. There is no value for money compared to other cafes around who serve decent sized breakfasts and great food. I ordered toast and a side of tomato and for ten bucks I got two very small and dry pieces of sourdough and one half of very small tomato. Should have stayed at home.
