A relative newcomer to the St Leonards restaurant scene, Spice Me Up! Thai Sensation has made an impact since its debut in late 2007 on its convenient Pacific Highway location just opposite the suburb's train station. However, the hustle and bustle of traffic is left at the door, which leads into a calm a la carte setting buoyed by warm red walls and gilded candle and wall lighting. As its name suggests, Spice Me Up! is a haven for spice aficionados who might like a touch of tangy tamarind, a surge of spicy cucumber or a rush of red coconut curry. From the all-time classics, like stir-fried combinations of vegies, tofu, chicken, beef, lamb or prawns with sweet and sour sauce, to chef's specials, such as the sweet potato curry chicken (or prawns), Spice Me Up! Thai Sensation is quite the sensation indeed.
