An unfussy cafe with views over the beach, Speedo's has an excellent, cheaply priced big brekkie, plus an array of burgers, salads and mod-Oz meals for lunch. The cafe closes at sunset, allowing ample time for an early evening meal in the summer.

Good coffee, good food!
Loved the food. We ordered a chicken napoletana with chat potatoes & a lamb rib rack with a baked potato. The chicken was tender and juicy and the napoletana sauce was fresh and tasty. The lamb rack was very good with a nice BBQ sauce. Only thing lacking with the food was presentation. The coffee was good too. Life is too short for bad coffee, they say... Tables are a little squashed together so as it got busy, it was nearly impossible to reach the toilets without circling the whole seating area. The napkins provided are the flimsy coffee-shop style one coming from a metal box. Hardly satisfying when you order ribs! I had to ask to be brought a steak knife. Prices are right. Will be back.

Although the menu could benefit from an update, the food is great and one of the best in Bondi for a brekkie stop. Sometimes a bit hectic but no more than you would expect from a place with such great views over the water and friendly staff. They also do a great range of gluten-free products for those so inclined. I recommend the take-out bacon and egg rolls.
