Joining the illustrious stable of cafes on Bridge Road, Sparks Cafe generates plenty of sparks from its coffee, brekkie and light lunch services in the daytime to its buzzing evening soirees from Thursday to Sunday nights. The scene is cool and convivial, what with the polished wooden floorboards, a purple backlit bar, the earthy contrast of warm creamy yellow-painted walls and exposed brick pillars, and of course, the undercover alfresco area, replete with pub-style wooden tables. You can expect mod-Oz meals with a dash of Mediterranean flair, from lamb shanks and parmigiana to prawn pastas and beyond. The cake fridge tempts and teases as you grab one more coffee and contemplate an accompanying slice.

Had a great dinner at Sparks. the food was fresh and well portioned,the service was friendly, and most importantly for me a wide variety of drinks!! thanks guys for a great evening. i will be sure to return.

The place to go on Bridge Rd!
Dinner was delicious, all of us pretty much licked our plates!! It just kept getting better with anti pasto for entree, steak cooked perfectly for main and brulee for dessert- the food was absolutely beautiful and the service was excellent too! I will most definitely be back!!

A bright spark indeed!
Had a wonderful breakfast here last weekend and was very impressed with everything. I found the service very attentive and FINALLY I can order a strong flat white and actually get a STRONG flat white!!! A personal trimuph!!!
Sparks is also great value for money (especially for Bridge Road) - the serving sizes are teriffic. I'll be back!
