Spanish Tapas

Complete with bright Spanish-flavoured artworks, wrought-iron chandeliers and a brick-lined courtyard, this space seems made to house a traditional Spanish restaurant, and it fits the bill entirely. The menu features a large selection of tapas dishes - ideal for nibbling among friends - as well as several different types of that Spanish restaurant staple, paella. On Friday and Saturday nights, diners can get into the Mediterranean spirit, sitting back with a jug of sangria and marvelling at the athletic antics of the performing flamenco dancers.

Always a good experience
I have dined here with my girlfriend on several occasions over the past couple of years and can say that on each occasion the food and the sangria have been delicious. We've just about tried everything on the menu will definetly be back for more...

Best spanish food i have had
You have to try this restaurant. The food is great if you want a hearty meal and are into the spanish cuisine. The service is a tad under but the atmosphere completely lifts the feel of the restaurant. I would have to say that the flamenco floor show is a 100 out of 10, it just adds that extra touch to a lovely night and makes me go back time after time.

So so...
We've been here a number of times and while the food is always good, it's the atmosphere that keeps us coming back. That said, the staff do not. Without fail they are forgetful, overly rushed, slow and don't know what is on the menu. Such a shame in a place with so much potential and it becomes really obvious just how important staff are in contributing to a restaurant experience.
It's worth giving a try for the atmosphere.

Disappointing Experience at Spanish Tapas
Had a bad experience here for a birthday on the weekend. When we booked, they told us that Corona, Heineken and Crown were included in our banquet meal. However, they told us on the night that they had stopped serving this a long time ago and that it was impossible we had been told this.

The food was dull and covered in oil. The waiters were so rushed off their feet and didn't give us as much service as you'd expect.

Then, to top it all off, they took the candles from my friends cake (she had brought the cake and candles with her for the birthday) and they put them on someone else's cake, leaving my poor friend with one candle and two other people with ten candles! It was so weird that they didn't ask, and then were surprised that she was upset!

You haven't eaten, until you've eaten here
I love this resturant. Even after having moved from Sydney to Perth, I still dream of eating at Spanish Tapas the way I used to almost every Saturday night.
The atmosphere is casual and fun, so don't go expecting a table for two with candles. A lot of group bookings are made. If you go on Friday or Saturday make sure you book, because it gets busy very quickly, and there are Spanish dancers who are lots of fun. There is a great menu with a huge selection of Tapas, priced extremely reasonably. Try the chorizo, the lamb, the mussells, the fish and don't forget the Sangria - it's all great. I couldn't recommend it enough.
The only downside is that the tables are very close together. The wait staff are all happy and helpful, but they generally stay out of your way unless they can tell you are looking for service.
Nice outdoor area that you can't see from the street and food that will make you come back time and time again.

The flamenco floor show was spectacular, however the service was horrible, waiters were clueless, especially the one that was charging – he had no idea what he was doing!!! If it had not been for the show I would have easily walked out of the restaurant.
