Spaghi is one of Perth's longest-running owned and operated restaurants, with proprietor Gino La Pegna and his wife Tonia serving 'strictly Italian' food for 17 years. A native of Napoli (the home of the pizza), Gino offers a choice of eight pizzas, with the real emphasis on the traditional Italian dishes. People come from all over Perth for the signature dish, pollo alla griglia; and the taglierini neri con granchio, hand made squid ink black pasta and West Australian fresh crab. With a focus on good, robust food (there's no cutesy Italian cliches in here) and a 'no bookings' policy, there is often a queue outside as regulars return.

Arrogant staff ruin the food
I have eaten at Spaghi's many times over the last ten years. I reccomend sticking to the takeaway!
The no booking policy has led to an arrogance among the staff that does not belong on the hospitality industry. Disgraceful treatment of my family occured in an empty restaurant at only 6:30pm where my wife and daughter were refused any table other than at the entrance to the door or kitchen.
I will take my family elsewhere in future. Wake up Spahi this is a service industry!

Best pasta in Perth!
Sensational Italian restaurant - have been dining here for many years and enjoying their takeaway. They never disappoint! My only gripe would be that you cannot book, they don't need to, people would line up for hours to get into this restaurant. Every item of food on the menu is divine - try it, you will love it!

A great value restuarant
I have dined here on two occasions and have thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant both times. The food is outstanding and consistent, prices are reasonable and the service is friendly and attentive. I would recommend this restaurant if you are looking for cafe/restaurant dining experience in a casual atmosphere.
They can count me and my wife as regulars.
