Great experience!
The food was absolutely delicious and great value for money. There are some beautiful organic wines on the menu and the service was fantastic, attentive and very quick. The atmosphere is relaxed and there are outside tables to enjoy warm evenings. Will definitely return!

Vegetarian heaven
As a visitor to Melbourne I researched vegetarian restaurants before I went there on holiday. Soul Food Cafe was on the list and here's my review on the experience.

We were welcomed by a warm, creative and comfortable vibe. Couches or tables, friendly staff and a very interesting menu.

First check was that vegan options were available and they were: we dined on roast vegetable chips, satay tofu burger and tempeh/ beetroot burger. To top it off was a rich chocolate cake (vegan also!!)

WE definitely ate way too much, but it was such a treat to have such delicious vegan food, every bit was amazing! Great-sized serves, great presentation and absolutely great food.

I just wish I lived in Melbourne so I could make Soul Food cafe my local hangout!!
