Awful Service
Food was delicious once it arrived. Our entrees took nearly 40 minutes to arrive and another 30 minutes before the first main was served. They were very diligent with refilling our glasses with water, shame they couldn't be more attentive with the food. Our order had been lost, we were told. They should have offered complimentary breads.

Don't go unless if have all night for dinner and if you insist on going, make sure you have a snack beforehand.

Couldn't have asked for anything more
We went to Souk in the City for my surprise birthday dinner, and it was fantastic. A group of 9 of us were showered with rose petals upon entry (and then latecomers were again given the rose petal treatment!). The food was described so sensually by the owner that we decided to let him make a selection that we shared for entrees, and although I don't know what they were called, all the dishes were amazing.

The food is really a cut above the other Moroccan restaurants I've tried in Sydney - interesting flavour combinations, great recommendations and obviously prepared with care.

The mains were fantastic, and to top it off they surprised us with a few pieces of cake for my birthday, with candles (no one in my party organised this, they just did it) - complete with more rose petals!

Also recommend the pomegranate cocktail - perfect for a hot summer's day and really well presented.

We'll definitely be going back to this one. There are so many dodgy restaurants in Sydney I just wanted to share our great experience.

Tasty food, very friendly service & great cocktails!
Very friendly staff, tasty food with good options. I was very surprised to see a great range of cocktails on the menu, perfect for pre-dinner drinks outside!
I was expecting more colour and ambience, and am not a big fan of the courtyard square that it is situated in, but overall a good night.

Disapointing expereience!
Food is under average level.

The service and the atmosphere were warm and efficient but nothing more.

They could and should do better in regards to the food quality.
The place is very nice and warm but....

We may give them another try in few months or so
