With its bright and spacious location in the heart of North Sydney's CBD, Sotto is one of the true quiet achievers just north of the bridge.
The decor at this breezy corner cafe is minimalist yet inviting, reminiscent of Finks in Waverton back in its heyday. The select few pieces that adorn the stark white walls add a touch of personality to the open space, while recycled tea cups and saucers posing as light fittings show that this is no paint-by-numbers job.
The menu continues the slightly offbeat theme with regular cafe staples compensated with more designer choices, such as a smoked ocean trout and spinach omelette, or quinoa and soy grain bread.
