A mainstay of the Griffith food scene for a few years now, Soi 8 attracts crowds in droves with its fragrant take on authentic Thai cooking.
The angel prawns, vibrant red-curried morsels individually portioned and served flambeed in a generous lick of alcohol, are the main drawcard on the menu, but don't let their presence detract from the rest of the offerings. A laudably fiery yum neau is a treat for chilli lovers, while the trusty masaman curry is there for those who don't subscribe to the 'some like it hot' philosophy of food.

The food is worth the wait.
I've been to Soi 8 Thai a few times and each time the food has been fantastic. Absolutely delicious! However be prepared to wait patiently as sometimes the service can be a bit slow, but always very friendly. A lovely experience overall.
