Very Disappointing
This place is a joke. I paid $18 for a tiny pizza with a small amount of rubbery cheese and one sorry looking spinach leaf on it. My girlfriend and I looked at each other when it came out thinking we were on a hidden camera show. The pizza base was oily.

This place is always empty for a good reason. There are plenty of quality places in the area that charge much less.

My wife and I are staying at the Como Hotel for the weekend, up from Sydney. We felt like crashing and asked the concierge for a recommendation of a pickup pizza place. They eventually came back with the Smokehouse. I am experienced enough to know that most restaurants near hotels recommended by staff are terrible, though how bad can it be, right? Take away pizza.

Utterly terrible.

I had a slice of the tandoori pizza on the way back. It had one slice of chicken per slice (four slices). It has dried coconut on top, piles of cold chutney (I think) and an awful base. I ended up shaking off the ingredients of the last 2 slices and ate the token chicken.

My wife had the prosciutto pizza. See above, except substitute half a cup of olive oil in place of relish.

The "herb crusted" calamari (the name should have warned me off) had the taste of herb bread you might find in an old, local, Italina restauarant, albeit with calamari rather than bread. Wierd, except that that there were 5 pieces for $15. That is more per piece than oyster or prawn. Absolutely terrible.

I can't put it down to a bad night. The place was empty, these recipes are clearly theirs.

We paid $57 for 2 small pizzas and 5 pieces of calamari.
