Befittingly proud of its "small bar" status, Small Bar makes up for its size by having a big personality. Lodged in a cute terrace on Erksine Street, Small Bar seems secluded from the happenings of the city, yet it's so easily accessible from the CBD. A warm sense of calm intimacy is established by the wooden floorboards, matching furniture, glistening candles and neat rows of bottles at the bar.
Speaking of drink, Small Bar's beverages cover key South Australian, Western Australian, Victorian and French varietals, complemented nicely by a menu of Mediterranean-style tapas, like tomato bruschetta and house-made pate with sourdough bread. For something with a little more bite, Small Bar provides some appetising salads, burgers, pastas, and chicken, veal and fish dishes.
