Located above the bustling street, Six Degrees offers a tranquil escape in the form of a large balcony overlooking the madding hordes below (or the suburban traffic, anyway). The funky space - decorated in eye-catching bright pink - is designed for lounging around throughout the day. The menu is ideal for snacking, with the entree list made up of tapas-style nibbles that can be combined into tempting platters for two, with such components as crispy whitebait or eggplant and feta rolls. The rest of the menu combines slick cafe dishes (gourmet pizzas and, of course, plenty of brekkie options) with more unusual meals. For dessert, there are plenty of cakes displayed in the cabinet to tempt onlookers.

Wonderful
We had dinner at Six Degrees on Sat evening and the food, atmosphere, and service was excellent! We both had risotto, and both were superb! They have a fairly large selection on the menu and I am looking forward to going back and trying something different. Expectations are high!

Pleasant night out
Very impressed by the quality of the food, menu choices and friendly service. My partner's risotto was perfect. Marvellous desserts, particularly my Rhubarb Brulee which was a delight from the first crack of the surface, down to the delicious rhubarb. We'll go again and recommend to our friends.

Our Favourite!!
We eat there regularly, they know us well and always come to the table to ask how we liked the meal;they offer suggestions if there is a new dish they think we might like to try.The food is unfailingly excellent and the presentation perfect. We have never been disappointed - please, don't ever close down!!!

Tried and True
I have been here more times than I can count. It is possible that it is more than 50 times.
This is honestly the most consistent restaurant of any sort I have ever been to and I think it is because of the owners and waiters being such a solid, humble and efficient team. I have in fact been here so many times that I know the menu off by heart, I spend hours in advance trying to decide exactly which amazing meal I will have. The chickacini pasta, the chicken'n'stuff pizza, the pumpkin soup, the crispy-skinned duck, and the volcano risotto which has recently come on the menu are my regular favourites and are definitely ones to try. They even have native Australian meats which I have admittedly not tried yet but have been told they are very good. 90% of the time they are very efficient and only take about 10-15 minutes to come out, which is a reasonable time considering what they are cooking. It does take longer on very busy nights but this is expected as they have a limited amount of ovens and people to cook the food.
Because I always come for dinner I have the hot meals but there are salads and gourmet sandwiches that are perfect for lunch. The breakfast items are also very well made and reasonably priced.
The atmosphere also definitely fits the food and service, with its newly painted white walls and timber floors, colourful plant decorations, attractive paintings which you can in fact buy, comfortable and fashionable seating.
I have travelled quite widely and I think it is possible that it is one of the best casual dining venues in the world.

chic and cheery
Four adults who eat out often were looking for a relaxed venue serving hearty food and found both in Six Degrees. Serving sizes are good and the food fresh and flavoursome. Staff were friendly and efficient and the funky ambience is lovely. The verandah is wonderful on a breezy Sunday evening. Despite the prawn risotto being called a paella (it can't be both!!)it was very nice. We will definitely be going back for another taste test.
