We got ripped off
There were 7 of us for an 18th birthday dinner. We were the only people eating on a Friday night. No menu was given, just a tapas list written on a glass mirror. The menu read all meals for $10. We ordered 14 servings of tapas, specifically not ordering the banquet menu. When we went to pay, the waitress charged us for 7 banquet meals @ $28 per head. When we disputed this she said that what we ate was actually the banquet! What the???? It felt like getting robbed in broad daylight. She even apologized for ripping us off!. This is the great service you can expect, should you dare to go. First time, never again.

Absolutely Terrible
We booked on a Wednesday for dinner the following Saturday night. When we arrived it took almost half an hour to order (drinks and dinner). Then when we did order we were told there was only six tapas dishes available (out of approximately 15 on the menu). This was extremely disappointing. We wanted the banquet but ended up being served basically whatever was left in the kitchen. This consisted of meatballs (tasted like cheap meat with a tin of crushed tomatoes poured on top), an antipasto platter (a pathetic amount antipasto accompanied by some stale bread and savory biscuits), lamb skewers (over cooked meat with an odd dipping sauce), chicken pieces (which were nothing special, could have purchased them at a supermarket myself). Overall we were all extremely disappointed with the food and beverage menu and service.

Sippers
Took my mum and some of her friends there for her birthday last night. Food was excellent, as was the atmosphere. Brought mum's cake out nicely and plated. Only draw back was their coffee machine was broken so no coffee - but I understand that's not their fault. Otherwise service was pretty good. Would definitely go back again. Savoury banquet is an excellent choice for groups - plenty of food to choose from.

Had the banquet option. Definitely a great place to eat with great atmosphere. Would definitely go back again.

Sippers
Not knowing what to expect, I arrived at Sippers to find a very warm and inviting bar/restaurant. A quick read through the menu and a casual chat with one of the staff and I knew I was in solid hands!
After choosing a banquet option with a shared trio of cheeses, my friends and I agreed that we would be back at Sippers for either pre-dinner drinks or another full banquet asap!
