This is a well-kept Northbridge secret. Open late, it's as popular with the late-night Saturday folk as it is with families for somewhat earlier and quieter meals during the week. Quick and efficient service means your meal arrives hot and fresh, and means the turnover here is pretty high, though it still manages to maintain a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The chilli pepper fish is a tasty choice, popular with locals in the know.

Excellent value, friendly waitresses
SCT is a personal favourite of mine, and with good reason too. Dishes arrive quickly even when busy and mains are on average ten bucks a pop. Dishes I'd recommend are chilli pepper spare ribs, chilli pepper beef, honey pepper beef, tofu with roasted pork (red roasted tofu if we take the literal translation) and sambal kangkong. Many others are also delish. For the adventurous, they also have deep-fried chittlings. They're open until 3am every day. Decor is lacking but this is a casual place for relatively cheap food, not for fine dining.
