Silks Banquet Dinner
Brilliant atmosphere and outstanding service. Overlooking Southbank and the Yarra River, Silks is a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach.
Staff are attentive and caring with impeccable service and a friendliness that is often lost at other Chinese restaurants. Food was wonderful, however not sure whether the impression was due to the worth and reputation of the restaurant versus true culinary skills. Nevertheless, the banquet menu is thoughtfully created. An evening that was extremely impressive and will be well remember but most likely a one-off dining experience.

Disappointing Service
We recently dined at Silks and considering they try and portray themselves as one of Melbourne's best restaurants they fall well short. The service was close to pathetic, waited way too long for drinks, they were rude and abrupt. Wrong meals were brought out and then blamed on us. In saying that, the food was good without being outstanding. Expected a lot more.
