Siena's

This yellow-walled eatery is dotted throughout with leafy green plants and eye-catching artefacts. Cane chairs and slowly circling ceiling fans lend the room a colonial feel, while a mural painted on one of the walls adds an Italian feel to match the cuisine. The sandstone-walled courtyard out the back has a striking tiled feature and wall plants, with tiny artworks displayed down one side.

What fun! This is the best space to share food in Perth
ok, ok it felt like a big shop from the outside.
But then the Maitre' D who goes under the suspicious name of Dopio took great care of us.
Visiting Perth from Melbourne on a fortnightly basis, I find it hard to have a happy andplayful night with great food, so am pleased to discover Siena's.
Solid, reliable food, great pizzas and pastas and a perfect floor show.
For those of us who go to restaurants for more than a boring meal, this is the place in Perth.
Love your work boys and girls of Siena's!

Mmm pizza
The place was mega busy. Service was pretty poor, the attentiveness & speed. Ordered drinks & 3 different pizzas. Have to say the pizza was quite good even with a slightly soggy base (wood fired on premises), seemed like they used relatively fresh ingredients. Best were the meat lovers & the 4 cheese! The tap water was awful. The gelato wasn't the best I've had, didn't like either of the ones I tasted, white choc n' coconut or the rum n' raisin. Restaurant too cramped, tables too close to each other. Did not like the fact that the staff did not have uniforms. Did not think much of the decor or surroundings, forgettable. Got given wrong bill at end of evening. I'd probably order take away pizza next time.

hm
I've really enjoyed eating here before, but the last time I visited made me never want to go back. We had to get up and do to the counter to get drinks. Not enough menu's were provided and we too made the mistake of having the tap water. The glasses were bought over three in one hand consequently the waiters palm made contact the the lip of all our glasses. The steak was pretty average. The service was haphazard, but the strawberry daquiri always puts me in a good mood.

Disappointing
From the minute we sat down we were rushed. Tap water was ghastly. Hounded by waiters (we lost count) trying to take away empty plates while the rest of us were still eating. One even leant over one diner who was still eating to attempt a grab and run, even though the finished entree plate was still sitting in the middle of the table, ignored. It was tempting to arm ourselves with forks to start stabbing the groping hands. Please, instruct the waiters on some basic etiquette rules. Although I'm sure they were only "doing their job". We all ended up with indigestion with the pressure. Left and went elsewhere for dessert and coffee due to the constant eyeing of our table for walk-ins. Food was good, but not good enough to entice us back due to the service.

Always a pleasure
Every time I come here it's always a pleasure to sit down and know that a great meal is on the way. The garlic bread is absolutely fantastic and super fresh and generous as well as the garlic prawns, the calamari fritti, the spaghetti marinara and the chicken avocado dish. Great proportions. Great atmosphere. Great service. Always a happy customer.
