This little hole-in-the-wall is a hotspot for local artists with a need for caffeine. The menu is brief, but if you're after a top-notch coffee with something wicked to match, this is the place. The hallway entrance (although the whole place actually seems no wider than this hallway) opens into a room with old-fashioned high ceilings that lend an air of historical splendour, contrasted with dark shades of paint and retro furniture; while funky tiles emphasise the cafe's link with the art community.
Inside the door, a cabinet displays the food available - a range of pastries and a small collection of baguettes, focaccias and lepinjas. The loyal and regular patrons are a mix of those-still-partying-from-last-night, mixed with a sample of the urban bohemian crowd, local art students and those who just know where to get a good coffee.
