Facing the calm waters of Blakehurst Marina, Shipwrights seems a lifetime away from the bustle and noise of the Princes Highway just above. On the wooden boardwalk, you are so close to the water, you could almost imagine yourself aboard one of the luxury yachts around you - perfect for those of us who have no sea-legs (or sea-stomach) for boats. As you would expect, there's a decent range of seafood dishes on the menu, including the compulsory seafood platter, but the menu keeps one foot on dry land, featuring quail, rabbit, beef fillet and other such terrestrial delights.

Disappointing Experience
This was our third visit to Shipwrights and it will be our last. Whilst the food was excellent, the service was not only slow but was delivered by untrained waiters who apparently knew nothing about restaurant etiquette and customer service. A very disappointing decline since our last visit.

Mr & Mrs James
Great seafood, fresh oysters, serene atmosphere - a place my husband and I frequent often.
