The Shakey is a Sydney institution. One of the few truly local pubs left in the city, its bistro is equally famous for the 30-odd options all for $10. The menu ranges from Asian dishes to hearty winter warmers and gourmet pizzas, all for the same low price.
The atmosphere of this pub bistro is a relaxed local watering hole - nothing flashy but genuine and friendly. If you try to order a fancy cocktail with your $10 meal, be prepared to receive a strange look or raucous laughter in response; however, the service here is some of the friendliest you're likely to find this side of the CBD.
