For anyone who has travelled in Asia, the concept of the shabu-shabu hot pot will not be new. For others, welcome to flavour country.
The concept is fairly simple: an all-you-can-eat, DIY Japanese hot pot. Just choose your soup base (soy, miso or chicken), grab whatever ingredients you want from the conveyor belt, cook them in your slowly bubbling broth and then enjoy eating your dish as it takes on new flavours.
First-timers here will want to be careful with cooking times for certain ingredients (no-one likes their food overcooked or raw), but the friendly staff are very knowledgeable and more than happy to assist. Finally, to wash it all down, you can't go past the signature Shabu's Lover mixed juice.
