This mainly Italian cafe offers more than just great coffee - although it is truly great coffee. The handmade pasta is a menu standout, as are the focaccias if you're after a quick lunchtime feed. At night, it transforms into a gorgeous candlelit affair, and has a perfect little alfresco area for warm summer nights of people watching in Hardware Lane.

Everything I was looking for....
Celebrated my 30th Birthday at Segafredo and looking back, I could not have picked a more perfect place. It was easy for my friends to get to and being located on Hardware Lane gave the feeling of being in Europe while still in the heart of Melbourne. It was a gorgeous night and our large party was able to sit outside and visit with friends while listening to live jazz. The drinks were tasty (I recommend their cosmo!) and the food hit the spot (try to seafood risotto!). Sash, Bob & Ruby ensured that our glasses were never empty and made us feel right at home. It was a night that we'll not soon forget. Sash, Bob & Ruby - thanks for a great night and looking forward to our next event at Segafredo!
