The Rocks isn't usually the first place that springs to mind when hunting an authentic Chinese feed, but venture beyond the bustle of Chinatown and the CBD into its history-rich cobblestone streets, and the rewards will be plenty.
This gem of a restaurant is one of Sydney gourmands' best-kept secrets, a place with fantastically fresh ingredients and perfectly balanced flavours all cooked in the traditional ways and served to the select few in the know. The yum cha is superb, offering steamy handmade delicacies fresh from the kitchen, and the seafood, too, is a wonder to behold - delicate, fresh and mouth-watering.
