Set among the divine artworks, tall trees and lush lily pond of the glorious sculpture garden of the National Gallery of Australia, this fine restaurant has an appeal that's certainly not abstract. Under new ownership in 2010, Sculpture Garden Restaurant is out to make new impressions with its fresh, seasonal and always-changing modern Australian menu. You can expect anything from beef carpaccio to veal cutlets to a Caprese salad, as well as refreshing desserts like mixed berry tart or the three-cheese plate.
Indeed, Sculpture Garden Restaurant sculpts a soothing and sensuous experience in both its culinary and artistic persuasions. It's certainly not a bad stop to make while doing the rounds of the National Gallery.
