Catching a world-class show at the Melbourne Theatre Company (MTC) just got that much better, with the addition of this Italian-style bistro to the remarkable new MTC Theatre building. Script Bar & Bistro opened its doors in early July 2009, providing an all-day haven for locals, students and theatre-goers alike. Even though you can just drop by for a quick coffee or snack, the sophisticated menu offers signature dishes such as the bocconcini and tapenade ficelle and the green olive salmon, infused with plenty of fresh and local ingredients.
The brainchild of experienced catering and hospitality professionals Adam and Brendan Kyte, Script offers a modern and intimate dining setting suited to its sleek theatre locale, also featuring a well-stocked bar of top liqueurs, spirits, cocktails and wines.
