Sayers

The coffee centre of Leederville has welcomed another spunky cafe to its already bursting streets with Mark Sayers and his wife Steph creating a cool, almost Melbourne-style eatery. Walking into the duo's namesake cafe, the first thing you'll notice is its size. By Leederville standards the space is pretty tiny, but this is no bad thing. With friendly staff and inviting couches, the cafe engulfs its customers in a vibe as warm and nurturing as a matronly hug.

Much of the food at Sayers is on display, with an array of sweet and savoury slices and cakes provocatively displayed in the cabinet. If this doesn't get you salivating, you might just want to check your pulse. All the food is made on the premises by Mark Sayers. He's passionate and enthusiastic about what he's producing and he sources the cafe's produce himself, crafting the ever-changing menu around seasonal produce.

Even if you don't have time to sit down and have breakfast or lunch, grab a coffee and enjoy the smooth and very tasty blend of Five Senses coffee - it tastes as good as it smells. Match it up with a sneaky sweet treat such as a kaffir lime and coconut tart; or the popular pear and polenta cake.

WOW
Sayers is awesome....
Great and interesting breakfast menu...beautifully presented...the food just looks so inviting on the plate, couldnt help checking out other meals going to other tables.....the potato cakes are to die for...you just gotta have one as a side order

Really nice coffee...and I asked and found out all the cakes on display are home made....what a refreshing change from all the generic mass produced ones we see so commonly at cafes these days....
Friendly service...very funky layout

Well worth the drive from Highgate....will be going there regularly....my friends who ate with me yesterday were all of the same view.....such a fab find for weekend brekkies

Well done Sayers....keep up the great work

Awesome
After hearing great things about Sayers and being a big fan of other cafes decided to try them. I was not disappointed. Delicious breakfast and coffee. Porridge ws great and well presented, they were more than happy to make it with soy milk, which some places don't, and muffins were delicious too! Will be back!

A real gem
I live locally and so have eaten here often since it opened. Sayer's is truly one of Perth's best kept secrets! The food is superb and the waitstaff are always friendly and helpful. I go regularly for breakfast over the weekends and the breakfast menu is always impressive. Lunches here are consistently good and really interesting and I have been lucky enough to go for dinner on Thursday nights (the only night of the week that they're open) which have always been delicious. The only downside is the lack of tables (particularly on weekends) but this seems a small price to pay to have a cafe of this quality at the end of the street.

Sayer's
We attended with a work group of seven and were extremely impressed with the freshness of the food and the manner in which it was served. Absolutely delightful. We shall visit again, if not in a group certainly individually.

The most incredible breakfast...ever
I often frequent Sayers on the weekend for breakfast and it is buzzing! It takes over the old Eminem venue and is the newest addition to Leederville's already established cafe scene.

Sayers stands out from the rest with its innovative and changing menu, good (and never burnt) Five Senses coffee and incredibly helpful staff offering meals at very affordable prices considering the quality and serving size! From eggs, porridge, pancakes, frittatas - the menu has something for everyone.

This place is full almost from when it opens (which is 7am on the weekends) and I have actually struggled with other customers for a table. A perfect way to start the day!
