Established in late 2010, Saychol Thai is one of Kew's newest offerings, and is fast becoming a steady favourite. The cuisine is traditional Thai with a modern twist, and includes some great versions of classics like miang hoy (pan-seared scallops served on betel leaves with ginger, red onion, lime, lemongrass, chilli and cashew nuts, and dressed in a sauce of tamarind, roasted coconut and dried shrimp) and yum pla tod (deep fried whole barramundi tossed with a salad of cashew nuts and green apple or green mango).

Could this be the best Thai food?
Food to tantalise your taste buds- the thai beef salad was divine. Really friendly and warm staff. The owners came out to talk with the customers. Gorgeous photography which takes up the entire wall, so lovely to have an absence of purple! This is without a doubt the best Thai food in Kew and equal to Paladarr Thai Issan . Congratulations!! I am coming back to celebrate my birthday!!! Everyone needs to come and try Saychol.
